Today, Thursday June 4, 2009
We went to Turf City today... which is just tons of shopping, and eating... but they also have alot of kids activities... such as kinderart... figits (like slides, and bouncy stuff...), and play/eat cafe's... he plays... i eat... haha
We started off at the play/ eat cafe', mainly cause I saw some people who looked like I could conversate with. One mother was british and two were australian. They were a great help and we had a great conversation. Their children let Aiden eat at the table with them, and Aiden actually fed himself (after I cut up his chicken.) Today was the first day "A" has really had any sort of interaction with kids and his first time ever having chicken fingers. He did pretty well with the kids... there were times where he would pull me to play, but one of the mothers told me to sit and he would learn to play with the kids.... so I sat.... so Aiden brought the toys to me. grrreatttt..... But I did get him to jump on the mini trampoline (holding my hands), run on the squishy mats and slide down the slide with Lilly a british girl. He gets along alot better with females.... he is going to be a ladies man. I texted Ruby throughout the day... we had a great conversation ending with a text "u are bringing him fun and play, finally, thank you for takin care of him... you are quickly becoming his favorite, and I am glad you are showing him new things." She and I had some great conversations... I sent her pictures of him jumping on the trampoline.... She loves seeing things like this she texted me and said "he really is a sweet boy, i miss him soo much." I think she misses not being able to do things like this with him, so I just send her pictures throughout the day. Her parents flew in today from Malaysia...so she will be having dinner with them tonight.
After we left the play/eat cafe, we headed to Figits... they make you wear these slip resistant socks and its a bunch of tunnels and slides and squishy things you climp... like an oversized play place from chik fil a haha...addison loves that! hey boo boo! HE LOVEDDDD it there! he went up and down the squishy stairs all by himself, although he would continually look behind him to make sure i was following him. He climbed in a bubble that looked like he was driving an airplane , and some kid threw a ball at him... it didnt hit him but I about unleashed... he appologised and Aiden laughed when he did it! He did fall down once, and got a red mark on his face... I expected him to unleash those pipes of fury he has for a voice... but he got up and kept going...
So here are some pictures from the day... tomorrow, there will probably not be much since the grandparents are here, I dont really have to do much. They evidentally scare him, cause the grandma pops him with a rubberband if he does something wrong... (I dont see her and I doing coffee...) Layla (Michaels daughter isnt a big fan of her and before she went back to the UK she searched the whole house and took all the rubberbands haha...
ohyeah... michael and ruby are letting me sign him up for the Little Gym individual sessions since we will be travelling sooo much we can not commit to a schedule. Also next week we are doing a 5 day program at Jullian Gabrielle, down on Orchard road. Four days of puppet shows, abc's counting, and games then the last day there is an excursion to the orchard, or a water park, or zoo.... that will be good to interact with other kids.... and the british mother told me that the Zoo is amazing and has a waterpark that connects. So we will tackle that, maybe after our 9 week trip. (Which I find out all of the details tonight I think.....hopefully they will have enough meetings other than nyc and boston... like to miami and la... that aiden and I will go.... ohhhh miami pleaseee! lol)
ok well my tummy is soooo upset from the un-known that I have been eating.. like a harsh cramp... Gene...michaels ex wife who is here said it takes a while to settle... imma need that process to hurry up..... ok well thats it... dont forget... sign up to follow me and commet... i love you all... oh and....

Gene, She bought aiden a new stuffed Monkey... Welp, for the rest of the day, I'm going to lay by the pool till aiden wakes up.... then chill... HOORAY for saturday... miss sammi (she and I went to boarding school together) are going to Clar Quay in downtown singapore, where all the brits and americans are... a bunch of wearhouses that have been turned into bars, restaurants and clubs... ohhh yeah!!!!
