Dear Diet Coke. Thank You!

... was my exact thought as I used not my first can, but yes second 2.80 s$ can of Diet coke to was down the bamboo raw calamari & clams... & fried frog legs. The Duck wasnt bad... kinda like dark chicken meat.... but yep... Diet Coke seemed like the safest of the drinks that everyone else was having... like the coconut juice (straight from the coconut), and the soy bean and juice drink... i tried it.. and it didnt buff out... again, rice was always amazing and someone should tell PF Changgs I found their match on the Fried Green Beaannnnnnssss... wahooo....

Tonight was Ruby's parents last night here, they are back off to Malaysia... sooo we went out... the table was covered in food... as my plate started to accumulate food, I did the ONE THING I have tried to tteach myself... DONT ASK JUST EAT... I think the calamari & clam wouldnt have been as bad or chewy if I didnt know. For dessert we had warm almond soup. A bit thick... and sweet but alright... I think ruby knew I wasnt too keen on the idea, and surprised me with a cookies & cream cheesecake!!! So as I write to you tonight.. I savor everyyyy bite of this!

If anyone knows how to mail food without it going bad please send the following
From Wendy's #1 with cheese & a #7
Chik Fil A- ANYTHING
Taco Bell- Chicken Bean Burrito
In & Out- Cheeseburger & Fries... BOTH Animal style...

I think that would hold me over for a day...
THANKS!

Bed time, talk to you all soon!

A Chicken Hand & Monkey Brains you say?

Let me start off by saying, if you a reading this because youre...family, a friend, a friend of the family, a friend of a friend, a family friend of a friend of a friend... whatever! haha Sign up to follow me or at leasttttt at the end of the blogs you read... click it and leave a comment with your name... So I know who all is reading. I see all the time how many times it was viewed but I cant see who! So comment with your name or follow... LOVE YOU... and here ya go.... (maybe i should be an author I kind of enjoy this!)

YEP.. and I mean it... GROSS!!!! Only one was served at dinner tonight and the other was the topic of conversation. Thankfully it was just the Chicken Hand in the soup. Although I did not part-take in the eating... it is suppose to be very good for the joints... Every food, in every meal is good for something.... Chicken hands, joints. Barley, for your system. Mango, skin...ect... I did how ever find out that there is a cold soup that increases your bust size.... I will be getting Costco sized bowl foods starting tomorrow... lol... Louise, Ruby's sister, tells me what every food is good for, and I had to ask... she said she will take me where I can go try it... so we will see.

Please excuse my face... and lack of make up .. it was an odd moment and a long day.

Back to dinner... well Poa Poa (grandma) was cooking today, and brought out this BIG pot... that smelled...interesting.... so I sneaked a peak... and from there on was a bit sqeemish... I should def refer to my previous blog on the "dont ask just eat" motto.... in this case it was infact visual, making it a little harder to ignore. Everything else was great. Rice, chicken, chilli sauce, baked egg (like tofu)....it was another good meal... def gettin more and more excited about being in europe and the food there!!!
(so I snapped some pics... here they are.....)

As for the Monkey Brain Soup.....Evidentally Monkey Brain Soup is a delicacy in China. One that I have made COMPLETELY CLEAR... I will not be having. Everyone explained to me that it is a very expensive dish, where they give you earplugs and actually bring the monkey out, chained to a chair, alive...then cut open the skull so that you can eat the brain while it is alive. The earplugs are because the monkey makes soooo much noise. Noone at the table had ever had it, thank goodness and all agreed with me that it is cruel and well 100% disgusting.... Michael told me that one time in China, some customers took him out for the delicacy, but as they opened the monkey's skull, it was so nauseating and loud that he ran out & got sick. We will be skipping this meal in Bejing. YAY! Michael also told me (tryin to be funny) that the monkey screamed "Help me nancee...." I'm guessing not so much.

Everyone have a great day, since If you are reading this... youre PROBABLY in the states somewhere and it is probably around 1130 AM on Wednesday,... SO have a great hump day and Ill write soon... unless youre Pascal, Sylvian, Karoline, in France & Daniel in the UK & Cedric in Brazil (Yes you..ced..) where it is the evening have a great evening... whatever, whoever you are, where ever and I know you... have a great one!... EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! ill write soon!

Bukit Timah... is a LONG ROAD!

Let me start off by saying, Singapore is an island. Like a 16 mile by like 14 mile island... and Bukit Timah is the longest and oldest road in singapore...

"Bukit Timah is one of the earliest roads in Singapore. The 25-km long Bukit Timah Road, the longest road in Singapore, running north and south of the island, takes its name from this hill. The road to Kranji was completed in 1845. Apparently, the area was so infested with tigers that it constituted a serious threat to human life. In 1860, nearly 200 people were reported to have been killed by tigers in and about the gambier and pepper plantations." (thank you yahoo)

Well, I live off of Bukit Timah. I decided on saturday I was going to go exploring singapore all on my own.... yeppp.... one MINOR problem... I dont speak Chinese... well anything other than how are you and thank you.... nor do I know the Singapore bus routes. So I walked all around Orchard Road... then hopped on the bus to China town.... Im thinking I still havent seen the "China Town" that I was looking for... but I spent about an hour wondering around by myself... as I decided I was going to head home.. I saw on a sign that the 851 bus goes to Bukit Timah. Perfect..... here are some pics from Orchard Road. And then myself 'glistening
afer my million mile walk ahha

..hard rock Singapore
Yep um Not so much. It dropped me off on Bukit Timah... so I started walking, and recognizing things along the way that made me feel like I was almost home, like the Munk place... a marked... the Alliance of France... different stuff. I texted Sammi the whole time and she kept saying "oh youre almost there...." After an hour and a half, I got a taxi...he said I had walked like about 3 KM... and had 4 more to go! Needless to say... I will be getting an english bus route, taking a cab or driver from this point out... but if you need to know where something is on Bukit Timah.... I probably know!

China town was cool... I wanted to see all of the old temples and things, and didnt quite find them... so I'm doing my homework for this saturday! Here are a few pics though!

Today, Aiden had a photo shoot with his agent, ha. I didnt know but he is one of the Johnson and Johnson babies of Asia... (pictures coming soon..Ruby said she has a few here somewhere) but he had another photoshoot for something else today... he did soooo great! We controlled his diva moments and got the pics! lol

Tonight (Tues night...) Ruby's parents are still here from malaysia... she made soup, like mix veg, corn, a spicey chicken dish, and baked yellow fin in this spicey sauce and rice (of course) sooo good.. there was one thing I didnt take part in, it was mini baked fish... head included.. and u have to pop it open to eat, and take out the bones... not sooo much! But everything else was AMAZZZING! Tomorrow Aiden and I are off to Turf city, like last week, where he played in the balls and went down the slides!!!! Sooooo see ya!

My First Weekend in Singapore

and you people thought I couldn't party. You really learn to appreciate your saturday nights, when its the only time you can go out! So Miss Sammi took me out... Pump Room! They have this amazing house band, that does great covers, and the lead singer is a lady boy! They were awesome! Her friend, this jocky, Robbie had a table with bottles... I felt just like I was back home haha!!! Then the person in the black shirt... he is on the european pga...nottt sure of their names... but it was alot of fun!!! The dance floor was packed with all sorts of people from all over the place! This is a very diverse place to be. Sammi told me before we went out that the Singapore nightlife was alot of fun, she was right! Im ready for next saturday!!!

sammi, me and robbie fradd her south african jockey friend....
scott barr, he is on the european and asian pga tour... and the dancing man! haha

then on sunday...
My new friends... Trisha and Wade. Layfayette, LA. The have been living in Singapore for 3 years now.... I met them Sunday at the Lazy Lizard as Wade eyed my quesadilla I tried to listen to them to hear how they were talking... and finally I said "YOURE AMERICAN!!!" they then let me join them! haha Awesome people!!! We spent hours hanging out and talking... felt just like I was back home in the south... sports... Nascar (of course!!Go Kasey ... haha) , boys and everything!!! Soooo nice to hear someone talk like me!!!

This is Clarke Quay. Its like where all these old buildings have been turned into clubs and bars. Its VERY interesting!!! AND FUN!!!! We were here saturday and sunday night. They build HUGE umberalla things that light up... and cover clarke quay!

This is Club Clinic. Interesting... everything is hospital equiptment... the chairs are wheelchairs... the sofas are hospital beds.. you get your drinks in IV bags... pretty cool..
BUNGEEEEE!!!! So this is this huge ball attaached to bungee cords... and you can see in the last picture how tall it is... they pull you up, and then you press a button to release and you free fall until the bungee tightens and slings you back up! It was awesome. I was with one of Sammi's friends, then some US Navy people that were going to do it as well! It was RAD!!!!!
All in all I'd say it was a success this weekend! Super excited.... is it saturday again yet? haha!
today I'm working on my Ipod... and watching MTV Asia. Ruby's parents are still intown... so we will see what dinner is tonight!
oh yeah, Nick Thomas, thanks sooo much for being awesome!!!!!... so glad we got to talk this am!
